The Adventure, a Gloucester maritime treasure! Built in 1926, the Adventure is a 121 foot Grand Banks dory trawler and a National Historic Landmark. Hammond Castle, located on Gloucester's rocky coast, in Magnolia, Massachusetts, was the home of John Hays Hammond, Jr.,one of America's most prolific inventers, with over four hundred patents, including remote control.
