They come from many walks of life and from many countries. Some readily accept what has been laid down by Doctor Karenga, others question, but I feel that all leave with a new awareness of the world that surrounds them every day of the year.
I am proud to have continuously sponsored this web site since its beginning. It has not always been easy but I also have been inspired, particularly by the principle of Kuumba (creativity) "to do as much as we can to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it." It is my hope that you too will be both inspired and uplifted by the spirit of Kwanzaa.
