Purpose
It is our belief that ultimately the strength of the World Wide Web will come from the community level. As more residents from all walks of life discover the many benefits that are theirs for the asking, the community page will increase greatly in importance.
What is a Community Page?
More accurately, we should ask, "What is a Community Web Presence?" The answer, beyond the inevitable arbitrary guidelines is both personal and universal. It is my fate to begin the exploration of an answer.
Other Resources A list of associations and organizations dedicated to communities is available. These organizations in turn have resources such as conferences, news letters and libraries that may be of immense value to the community and its page author.
Notes
Please note that because of the scope of this index, it can be anticipated that errors will be made, the worst of which will be those of omission. I know that we have not found all of the viable community pages in existance. In fact, I had the distinct feeling that new community pages were springing up right behind us.
We invite you to participate in this still evolving effort. It would be a substantial help to place a link to this index within your page.
