A Real Clipper Ship

This is a picture of the Pride of Baltimore, a replica of a 19th Century Baltimore Clipper topsail schooner. Like all clippers worthy of the name, it is under full sail.

The ship is modern, but like all clipper ships, has its own romantic story to tell. You can learn about it and much more at the Clipper Ship Museum.

Our Clipper Ship Museum

Clipper Ship Museum. There is a fleet of over twenty clipper ships anchored here waiting to tell their individual tales of romance, adventure and tragedy. There is much more information about this era, punctuated by maritime high-tech, gold rushes, migration between continents, and death on the high seas. Sound like a movie? It was much more than that and it was real!
