____________________________________________________________________________

· Have you ever wanted to read the Central High Record newspaper, Annual, reunion notes for any year and see it on a screen on the Castle website at any time, page by page?

· Would you like to have a virtual tour of every classroom and area of Central on a digital video for play at any time, and especially after the construction of the apartments eliminates that possibility altogether? No more graffiti in the auditorium!

· Do you want a reliable place to send any of your memorabilia, including vintage clothes, to be viewed by future generations? And that memorabilia could be viewable in three dimensions on the CHS website, like Harvard’s Fogg Museum collections?

· Would you like to have a bulletin board to post topics of various interests to all with choices to click on and respond to without having to wade through topics that you are not interested in?

· Would you like to post your or your parents’ life story or portions of it regarding Central, as well as scanned photos, in a permanent ‘oral’ history for easy access to researchers and others, one that could be constantly updated and responded to?

These and many other topics are being discussed with representatives of all classes before time and age renders all these things moot.

A new linkage is being established, different from previous efforts, which will reflect on a continuing basis what most CHS alumni are looking for.  Look for us on the regular CHS Website soon.  If you haven’t registered there, please do, as that is how we can be touch with you. The Sioux City Central Alumni Website address is: http://www.globalindex.com/CastleWeb/

For further information, please contact Kent Watkins at his e-mail address, kenmar@ix.netcom.com

his cell phone, (301) 775-2963.  All are welcome to visit him in Washington, D.C. for free lodging and breakfast at any time!

Please help us preserve anything involving Sioux City Central so that is available on the Web and accessible to all as well as any physical gift for open storage viewing at the Museum’s Research Center or COHA’s eventual showroom/ offices.

Thank you!  And thanks to John Haviland and The II-VII Corner, who operate the Castle Website; Don Jensen at COHA; and Dan Truckey, S.C. Public Museum.  And all the others who have already given!
